Dave Oseland is your host for this site. Dave worked in the broadcasting field for over 35 years. His first interest was engineering, and worked with a number of Chicago radio stations in that capacity. For over a decade he hosted a number of radio shows in Chicago before turning his interest to television; among them was the daily “Big Band Revue” heard overnight on WEAW-FM, and “Saturday Night Sing” and “Wonderful Day” on WYCA-FM. After several years with WCIU-TV, Dave had a small part in launching WCFC-TV in 1976, and served at the station for over 23 years, lastly as the stations director of programming. He hosted several nationally-syndicated television programs produced at WCFC-TV, including “Page Two”, “Memories”, and “Travelin’ On.” In 1990, Dave partnered with media executive Don Hancock, president of Performance Communications to launch KADI in Springfield, MO, which they owned and operated for 10 years. In 1999 Dave went to Nome, AK to manage missionary station KICY where he still serves on the board of directors. Before retiring, Dave served for over 6 years with the Moody Broadcasting Network in Chicago, IL. Currently Dave spends his time serving as a volunteer with International Missions Alliance, Community Family Clinic and the Ravenswood Evangelical Covenant Church, all in Chicago, IL.
